That’s a new record — and a new low in Democrats’ complete failure to secure our borders and keep us safe.
Authorities encountered more than 2.76 million migrants crossing the border illegally last fiscal year, the largest number ever recorded, according to newly released U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) data released as we went into the weekend.
The record number of crossings during the fiscal year, which ended on Sept. 30, topped the 1.96 million migrant encounters the previous year, a sharp rise CBP attributed with 42% of migrants fleeing from Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba. Meanwhile migrants from Mexico and northern Central America have declined.
BREAKING: In a blatant Friday late night news dump, CBP has released the September border numbers, revealing there were 227,547 migrant encounters, the highest Sept. in DHS history.

The FY’22 September border numbers are more than quadruple the FY’19 numbers, which was the year Trump had his own surge at the border.
